Joye B. Moore is the founder of Joyebells Sweet Potato Pies. Joyebells launched in October 2019 with its signature product "Joyebells Sweet Potato Pies," just as COVID-19 hit. Despite the pandemic and the ever-changing ‘new norm,’ Joyebells pivoted. Through faith, hard work, and determination, they have exercised their mission statement and advocate for their community.
Joye uses a legacy recipe from her third great-grandmother, Sarah Mae Howell, to make her signature, delicious pies! Since October 2019, she has grown her business to retail in fifty grocery stores, five independent grocers, and all forty-five Central RVA & Tri-Cities FOOD LION stores! And did you know? As of February 7th, those famed sweet potato pies hit shelves in Sam's Clubs in 24 states!
Joyebells' mission is to deliver an exceptional quality experience that brings people together and leaves customers feeling like family while enriching the lives and families of their employees.
